One of my favorite parts of creating is what I get that is unexpected. A mark, a tear, a line. Perhaps my favorite unexpected thing is what a paint palette looks like when I have finished a session. Enjoy the messy beauty of yesterday’s art.

I love being original. There is no one else like you- and no one else like me!
These earring are one of a kind, too! They are hand painted by me with love!

Look for these in my shop soon!
Busy making for the upcoming Spring Virtual Makers Market!

I started creating these mini canvases out of not wanting to waste paint. I would keep a few of these on hand and do drips with my leftover paints. I also tend to have random quotes cut out scattered on my desk. Together, they have morphed into mini mantra paintings!
These are listed in my Etsy shop…

There is something so satisfying about creating something from repurposed goods. Taking all the different pieces and bringing them together to make something new and beautiful. These journals will be part of my collection in the Spring Virtual Makers Market. Excited to create and share!

I love getting mail almost as much as I LOVE sending mail! 💌
Check out the sweet ephemera happy mail packs I have in my Etsy shop!

Goal today: Publish a blog post.
This is kind of scary, but hey, just jump in, right?
You might be asking, why? Why a blog post? Why you? Why now?
Well, I am starting this blog for a couple of reasons. First of all, I want somewhere to share my work and my creative endeavors. I want a place that holds it all, that I can share with others, that encourages me and motivates me to continue to create.
My second reason is that I want to connect. Even pre-COVID, I have felt lonely and distanced. Sure I have an awesome family, but it gets harder and harder to connect with friends as you get older (can I get an AMEN?)
I guess my final reason is that I want to contribute. I want to share my art and my story.
Thanks for being here and thanks for letting me be real…I hope you will join me in creating, sharing and repeating!
Carla
